Competition Rules

This document outlines the rules and guidelines for the MARC(Meta-Sejong AI Robotics Challenge) 2025.

General Rules

  1. Eligibility
    • Open to all individuals and teams worldwide
    • No age restrictions
    • Teams can consist of 1-4 members
  2. Registration
    • Registration period: April 1, 2025 - April 30, 2025
    • Submit your registration through the official website
    • Include team information and contact details
  3. Submission
    • Deadline: May 30, 2025
    • Submit your solution through the provided platform
    • Include all necessary documentation and code

Technical Requirements

  1. Environment
    • Use the provided Meta-Sejong virtual environment
    • Follow the technical specifications in the Technical Guide
  2. Code Requirements
    • Must be written in Python
    • Must use ROS2 for robot control
    • Must follow the provided API specifications
  3. Documentation
    • Include detailed documentation of your approach
    • Provide clear instructions for running your solution
    • Document any assumptions or limitations

Evaluation Criteria

  1. Performance Metrics
    • Accuracy of object detection
    • Efficiency of path planning
    • Success rate of pick-and-place operations
  2. Code Quality
    • Code organization and readability
    • Documentation quality
    • Error handling
  3. Innovation
    • Novel approaches to problem-solving

Awards

  1. Prizes
    • First Place: $5,000
    • Second Place: $3,000
    • Third Place: $1,000
  2. Recognition
